Level

What level do I need to start playing padel?

Author: Joan ApariciUpdated on

None. At JA Padel Academy, groups are set by level, including complete beginners. Tell us how you play and we will suggest the right one. Your first session lasts an hour and includes an assessment of your game.

Do I need to know how to play before signing up?

No. Groups are set by level, and there are groups for people who have never held a racket. You are four players at most, on the same day and at the same time every week, and an academy coach corrects what they see in every shot.

How do we decide which group is yours?

We suggest a groupWe tell you which group at your level fits your days and give you the fee.
First sessionAn hour on court, with an assessment of your game. You do not need to bring a racket.

What is the first session like?

It lasts an hour and takes place at Nuevo Origen Padel Club, in Paterna, which has indoor and outdoor courts. The coach watches how you play, and that assessment is the basis of the work with your group. Balls are included and we have rackets to lend.

What if I already have experience?

Tell us anyway. If you describe how often you play, which shots you control and which ones hold you back, the group fits better. If you would rather work on one particular shot, there are also private lessons, on your own or as a pair.

And for kids?

The same. They do not need any level to start, and the groups at the school are also set by level.
