Terms and conditions
Last updated: 8 October 2026
1. Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern the contracting of services offered by Joan Aparici Morant (JA Padel Academy), Tax ID 48605630Y, with professional address at Origen Padel Club, Carrer Ciutat d'Ontinyent 10, 46980 Paterna (Valencia). Requesting any service implies acceptance of these terms.
2. Services
JA Padel Academy offers group lessons, private lessons (one-to-one or for two players; single sessions, blocks of several sessions or recurring) and activities for groups: JA Experiences and the padel day for groups and companies. The content, dates, spots and price of each service are set out in writing before contracting, in the proposal or on WhatsApp, and are subject to court availability.
3. Bookings and contracting
Bookings are made through the site's contact channels (primarily WhatsApp). A spot or time slot may be held for up to 48 hours at no cost, and the booking is confirmed upon payment. For group lessons, the spot is confirmed once the first monthly fee is paid. Proposals are valid for 48 hours and subject to court availability; the spot is reserved once the deposit or the full amount is paid.
4. Prices and payment
Applicable prices are those communicated in writing before contracting, in the proposal or on WhatsApp, with VAT included. Payment is made by card, through the payment link sent by the owner, or by another method the owner indicates. Group lessons and recurring private lessons are paid monthly in advance; group lessons are paid by full month, not per class. Non-payment of a monthly fee releases the spot until the situation is resolved. For services contracted through a proposal, the booking is made with the deposit stated in the proposal and the balance is settled on arrival, unless the client chooses to pay the full amount in advance.
5. Cancellation and refund policy
Group lessons and recurring private lessons (season students): in group lessons, if the student gives at least 24 hours' notice and there is a free spot in another group of a similar level, a make-up class is offered (maximum one per month). In recurring private lessons, with 48 hours' notice or more the class may be rescheduled to a lower-demand slot (maximum one per month); with less than 48 hours' notice, the class is considered given. Classes missed without notice are not made up or refunded, and classes falling on a public holiday are not held and are not made up. Make-up classes expire at the end of the season and are not refunded in cash. Temporary or permanent withdrawal must be notified at least 15 days before the following month; without that notice, the following month's fee is due. Full details are in the Academy Rules for each season, which students accept when they enrol.
Single private lessons: cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the session. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice, or no-shows, are charged as a completed session.
Class packs (blocks of several sessions), JA Experiences and the padel day for groups and companies: the booking deposit, 40% of the price, is non-refundable. Any amount paid above the deposit is refundable if cancellation is notified at least 30 days before the activity starts. With less than 30 days' notice, that amount is not refunded, except in cases of force majeure assessed by the owner.
6. Client obligations
The client declares being in adequate physical condition for sport and agrees to be punctual and to respect the rules of the club where the activity takes place. Participation is at the client's own responsibility.
7. Liability
The owner provides services with due professional diligence. It is not liable for injuries arising from improper use of equipment or failure to follow the coach's instructions, nor for the client's personal belongings.
8. Data protection
Personal data provided is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, available at https://www.japadelacademy.com/en/politica-privacidad.
9. Changes
The owner may amend these terms. The version applicable to each contract will be the one in force at the time the service is requested.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of Valencia, unless consumer regulations provide otherwise.
