2. Data we process

Prospective clients (leads): name, phone number, email address, sports level and context, notes from your enquiry and, where applicable, your consent to receive commercial communications.

Clients and students: additionally, surname(s), date of birth, class attendance history and payment-related data (processed by our payment gateway; we do not store your full card details).

Browsing data: IP address and cookie identifiers and similar technologies, as detailed in our Cookie Policy.

3. Purposes

Managing bookings, classes, enrolments and the contractual relationship.

Handling your enquiries and communicating with you.

Sending commercial communications about our services, only if you have given your consent.

Analysing website usage in order to improve it.

Complying with our legal, accounting and tax obligations.

4. Legal basis

Performance of a contract: for the provision of services and management of bookings.

Consent: for sending commercial communications and using non-essential cookies. You may withdraw it at any time.

Legitimate interest: for improving our services, security and moderate commercial prospecting.

Legal obligation: for compliance with tax and accounting obligations.

We keep a record of the consents given (date, choice and text version) as proof of compliance.

5. Retention periods

Prospective clients who do not become customers: up to 1 year from the last contact, unless you have given us your consent for commercial communications.

Clients: for the duration of the relationship and, afterwards, for the legally required periods (6 years for accounting and tax obligations).

Data processed with your marketing consent: until you withdraw that consent.

Browsing data: as set out in the Cookie Policy.

6. Recipients and data processors

To provide our services we work with providers who process data on our behalf:

Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel, Conversions API and WhatsApp Business), for advertising analytics and communication.

Google (Google Analytics for web analytics; Google Calendar for the class schedule; Firebase/Firestore for website lead-capture forms).

OpenAI, for AI-assisted drafting of communication texts from the contact's data.

Stripe, for payment processing.

Resend, for sending emails.

Telegram, for internal notifications to the controller.

Turso, for database hosting, and Vercel, for website hosting.

Some of these providers may be located outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the US). In such cases, transfers are made with the appropriate safeguards provided by the regulations (standard contractual clauses or adequacy frameworks).

7. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by writing to info@japadelacademy.com, proving your identity.

If you consider that the processing does not comply with the regulations, you may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es).

8. Minors

Some of our services are aimed at minors (e.g. junior padel). Enrolling a minor requires the consent and supervision of their parent or legal guardian, who will provide and authorise the processing of their data.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption of communications (HTTPS), access control to our management system and the principle of data minimisation.

We may update this policy to reflect regulatory changes or changes to our services. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document.
